Certificate of Attendance
Continuing education information will be available at the CEU table each day during the Annual Meeting. For Iowa licensed social workers, nursing home administrators, CPAs and other health care professionals, it is up to the discretion of the licensee to select relevant sessions.
Some national, state and local licensing boards and professional organizations will grant continuing education credits for attendance at this conference when you submit the course outline (save the conference brochure) and a certificate of attendance.

IHA has been approved as a provider of continuing education for nurses by the Iowa Board of Nursing, provider #4.
A total of 1.2 Nursing CEUs will be available during this conference to participants who attend all programs that have been designated as awarding Nursing CEUs: Tuesday, October 4: 0.48 Nursing CEUs available; Wednesday, October 5: 0.48 Nursing CEUs available; Thursday, October 6: 0.24 Nursing CEUs available. Credit will be awarded for full days only; partial credit for individual sessions will not be granted.
NOTE: Iowa Nursing CEUs will not be issued unless IHA has the attendees nursing license number on file.
ACHE
IHA is authorized to award up to 10 hours of pre-approved Category II continuing education credit for sessions designated as awarding American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) credit, toward advancement, recertification or reappointment in ACHE. Participants wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward Category II credit should list their attendance when making application to ACHE for advancement or recertification.
The Iowa Hospital Association is authorized to award 3.0 Category 1 ACHE credits toward advancement and recertification in ACHE for the Wednesday, October 5 session, "Are Medical Groups in Your Portfolio? Critical Factors to Manage Your Investment" (W7). To receive credit, your name MUST appear on the sign-in sheet.
CLE
The Iowa Hospital Association has been approved to offer 6 hours of state and 6 hours of federal continuing legal education (CLE) credits for the programs noted by the CLE icon.
HRCI
8 hours of Human Resource Certification Institute credits have been applied for.
CFRE
4 hours of Certified Fund Raising Executive credits have been applied for.
